A lot of people have roaming IPs
I agree about the bannage, though. Maybe some kinda title for the guys who aren't coming through would make a difference. That might give 'em some incentive to make things better, especially if they plan on selling anything else around here..

a "controlled" feedback would be nice! some sort of link by the username or somthing "controlled" by the MODS would be great! and for the bad guys..just get rid of them..if they come back i think they would eventually be exposed and rid of once again..

ok thats a bit much... this is an internet forum, and we have classifieds, not a market place. you should automatically be on guard when dealing on the internet anyway, so sending $1200 to someone without at least being local is just stupid. only use paypal so you can do a charge back and **** up that person's account. +1 to i.p. bannage though.

Honestly I'd rather have them hear and labeled, then having them banned and rejoined as a different name where no one knows they're crooks anymore.
Seriously, we should give them an avatar title in red font, something simple but at the same time not labeling them as guilty.
Something like
"suspicious sales"
Thats pretty descreet. We would all know that it means something went down wrong with a transaction, either him or the other guy but we're not going to name names.
My two cents anyways.

I agree! I think that this should be taken more seriously with vendors. Despite certain vendors making bad deals, this forum still allows them to sponsor. My only question is why?
There used to be a system where people could place good/bad marks on a members profile. But as mentioned before there were people that got carried away. Mod controlled points would work much better though.
I think that an explanation should be required so that the potential buyer can view and judge for themselves(some people are over sensitive). I also don't think that this should be limited to just transactions either. If they are a vendor/personal seller and you had a bad experience with them then you should be willing to voice your opinion. The vendor should be able to comment back. Both message and reply should be kept at a word limit so that either side does not get carried away. Each person is limited to one comment.
So... +1 on this movement...

ill be forward and honest...i buy LOTS of parts from this forum and visit OFTEN...i have had my problems with memebers and they always worked it out with me...i tried and tried to work this out and got nothing..it is now left up to the MOD that is between us like a referee (LOL) if he (the seller) would pay for the rebuild kit i had to buy ($100), i would ask the mod to clean this thread and every other thread created by me about the seller becuase he came through with what i asked of him...its a shame i had to have a MOD push this into a spiral hell ride but it needs to be done...and i think ANYONE that buys somthing should have no choice but to leave a feedback on that person..i think lots of people dont leave a feedback and this can cause problems...im not in the military and dont have brothers roaming the states....actually the guy lives in the same state but i shouldnt have to chase him down..its not right...
