I permanently get emails when someone posts in a thread I have wrote a post in. I searched the configuration of the forum for the right option to turn this off but nothing helps. I don't want to be notified via email.
Can someone help me please?

try user options and unsubscribe from threads.

 

You may need to also unsubscribe from threads you are currently subscribed to. I think Styx's suggestion will just keep you from subscribing to new threads automatically.

I set mine up so long ago that IF I went into User options I would have to chop the Fuzz and dust off it!
