Is your rebar fiberglass
Just wondering if Canadian spec FC's use a metal or fiberglass rebar.
I took my bumper off and noticed the rebar was made from fiberglass. I was always under the impression that it was suppose to be metal.
My FC originally came from California, but i always though we had to modify it in order for vehicles to be registered in Canada.
Thanks,

you can "trim" it and make it basically useless, or just remove it entirely.
really though, just don't hit stuff and it'll be fine.
and if you put an FMIC up there, it's GOING to get damaged if you have the bumper or not and you hit someone.

When a lined it up the rebar it looks like i can get away with just cutting the bottom lip.
Is the rebar only their for fendor bendors and to protect the bumper or is it actually their for safety for head on collisions?

unless you get lucky and they go on top and crush your hood instead :P
my greddy FMIC would not fit without removing the rebar, and even if it would, if I left the rebar in almost half of it would be blocked, so yeah, it came out.
