1991 Dodge Ram 50. Regular cab, long box.
Rebadged Mitsu pickup with a stroked (2.4l) Talon motor, though the 8 valve head chokes it down to 108 hp. The 5 speed lets me keep it on boil though.

Ok nevermind... I'm not using my '84 GSL-SE for a winter beater anymore. I'm using my 1990 Festiva that I got for free. It has 108,000kms on it, runs like a brand new car, and is amazing on gas. It feels like I'm driving a golf cart. It has an automatic transmission so it's boring to drive. The 145 wire tires will be awesome in the snow though.
It sure is different from my other Festiva...
I'm going to be doing some things to my GSL-SE over the winter... ask Jimmy54 where I work

I have the beater of beaters......was my first car, owned since I was 13
1984 VW Jetta 2dr, yes 2 dr Jetta. with 310,xxxkms on it.
1.6L non-turbo diesel -rebuilt at 222,xxxkms, new brakes all around, new lines, re-lined gas tank, approx. 50mpg of 49bhp fun.
I'll take some pics of the exterior - hope you guys have strong bellys - its the new beetle green with ghosted falames - only a body man would drive that POS !!!lol
Only thing about the diesel is the damn starting.......if you don't have a block heater, you are toast man.

Hey Jaymez has some sweet taste, either AWD or Underpowered RWD for the winter, thats what i want, i was thinking of trying to find a Subaru SVX for the winter, older car looks amazing, i like it alot, not as much as the 3rd 7's but still looks amazing, and it would be sweet for the winter. while i could use it as a summer winter beater, but that will all come in time when i get my aprenticeship going strong, thinking of appliying at some high end dealerships in Alberta, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, you know all those. after that it's all up hill cause the cars i want are fairly rare and expesive to maintain, but thats half the fun.
