lol. Rallycross? oh god no! I'm even losing sleep over bringing it to autocross! as for when it's coming out of the garage, I dunno. lol! Goes for paint sometime in the next two weeks I hope. Then I gotta do some SERIOUS cleaning... 2 inches of sanding dust on my brand Mazdaspeed seats, and I'm too **** to let The Chamois do it for me... sheesh...

Heading out to the second event that sunday. I might need your help with the suspension install, I'm not looking forward to replacing the control arm bushings.

heh. I'm sure I'll be out anyways. Might have to fab up a quick car-bra for those pylons... They just don't get outta the way quick enough... Ken, I thought you had full poly bushings on that thing already?

Nope. I'm as poor as I am lazy so no poly stuff yet. Have you looked at the using something like 3M's clear bra for the front fascia, etc? Oh you could just....you know, not hit cones

Hey, how's it going? I'm Joe. You guys have prolly seen me on Heights before. I'll be buying my first RX-7 this weekend. It's an '83 FB with a 2 tone paint job, original silver on the front and a flat black on the rest. It is kenwood240's(from Heights) car until I buy it.

Hey Joe! Welcome to the board! Nice car, IIRC... And Ken, I did look at the 3M stuff, but I ran it by my painter first and he said they used to market a similar product that turned your paint yellow after enough usage... He didn't say it was the same stuff, but he said I should let somebody ELSE try it...lol . and avoiding pylons is nice and all, but they are QUICK little buggers! so hard to avoid!

In about two weeks I'll be parting out a complete S4 GXL with red interrior. I figured I'd give the locals first dibs before I post to the outside world. PM me your shopping list and I will let you know if I have it.

Already spoken for:
- engine
- trans
- drive shaft
- diff

Possibly spoken for:
- wheels

Hey I own a red/with black hood fc, with a single turbo set up, power fc, etc. Haven't taken the car out yet this year, still in storage at Brian's until we manage time to bring her home. I've yet to acknowledge my existance in the canadian forum so I figured this would be a good start. And Eric the cars looking good man.

You prolly hear me ALLL the time. Assuming you live in that area of town. I live in southland area. We HAVE to meet sometime. Anytime this week works for me.

Where are the two FC's? What color are they? Are they driven by young guys aor old(er) people? Sorry for the questions, just curious.

Joe

HAHAHA!!!

I think everyone in town knows who I am. Or at least my car. lol. Its got to be one of the ugliest sounding Sevens around. I just wish my speedometer worked so I know how fast I go when I floor it. What does 2nd gear top out at with a stock 12A? I estimate 70ish.

PS: Is kyler bergen the guy with the red firebird with the ugly hoodscoop?

no idea who Kyler bergen is. but think I may have laughed at his car once... I don't get out to steinbach much, my sis just said there waas a 7 with a 2-tone paint job and I was like "That guy's on the forum... "
lol
My speedo is in MPH, but I'm doing 50 at top in 2nd gear, IIRC... which makes it 80 km. Assuming your gear ratio is the same as my GSL...
