Hahaha yeah. I hope there's enough nice weather to get my FB back up and running. Would be a shame to have to take the beater or my mom's corolla if my beater is sold by then. Lol.

Its been a while since i've been on here. I got the FB going on the weekend and i've been having fun blowing through a tank of gas in 200kms or less. LOL! I still have to tune my carb but at least i can drive her.
I'll def vote for your car, Ken. What time does the show start? I'll try to get a morning shift at work so i can make it.
PS: LMAO @ the "wondersteer" tag. We have some good ones in the meet thread on Heights. Lol.

Well, it really depends what you want to have done...
There is a very knowledgeable guy in the St. Norbert area named Fred (275-1589). I have also heard some good things about Competition Engine (832-3418).

Combination switch - controls headlights
Hi;
I have a 1982 RX7-GX Pearl White with the wide body Mariah kit installed.
I'm looking for a replacement part for the turn signal, control mechanism that sits on the steering column, which turns the head lights on and off.
My lever, normally when I push it forward that usually puts the High Beams on and if you pull it forward the High Beams come on until you release the lever. However the present problem is this: when I push it forward the High Beams Do NOT come on but when I pull it forward and hold it towards me the High Beams work. Destination Mazda told me that the switch is bad and I need to replace it. Anyone have a replacement that they would like to unload?
Thanks.

There are 2 ways to go about this (prolly more but these are common and straight forward).
FIRST: you can try spraying lots of contact cleaner into the switch while repeatedly moving it through its motions. If this doesn't work you'll need to...
SECOND: Take it apart and clean the contacts by hand. There's more to this method than i'm willing to type but search in the 1st gen section in the archives. If i feel up to it i'll find it for you tomorrow.
PS: I want to see this widebody at the meet.

That's great to hear, Ken. Sorry i couldn't make it. I was working my last shift at my old job that day. The new job is full time, monday - friday. Woot!! Haha.
Bring that plaque to the next meet. I'd love to see it.
