Anyways, I won't be on the street for awhile because I recently got it checked out by Gerry Gordan's Mazda, said second turbo was blown and leaking oil, also the front engine cover seal need to be replaced (leaking oil as well, motor needs to be pulled in order to replace and with the turbo I'm looking at huge money). So right now I'm trying to get a second opinion on the work, looking at Wall's, but I'll either be rebuilding the twins, or going single (GT35R) and then I'll probably just tune it to 8 psi and run roughly around 350hp.
What is your boost pattern?

2nd turbo not coming online?

No boost after transition? or blowing tons of smoke after 4500 rpm?

I'm not too sure of the boost patern because I don't have a boost gauge, will be getting one though once I get it fixed. It was blowing lots of smoke at startup, and I could tell I wasn't getting much power in the higher speeds, for example, when you are about to go over the bridge that splits to either academy or route 90 near polo park, just trying to get up the little hill after goind under the overpass was hard, or cruising at around 50-60 and trying to punch it to merge into another lane it would have trouble.

Hey I have rebuilt a few motors in my days, All to my knowledge are running other than my own once which I blew because I ran lean due to improper tune on my TD07.

There is also Mark who does the JHB Coatings on housings can rebuild motors he seems to know what he is doing.

I have rebuilt several Turbos and would be willing to take a look for you to find out if your turbo is blown or not. Anything to help a fellow rotor head out.

Hey, I would definately be interested in that, but I probably won't be able to give you a definitive answer for like a month or so, just because it's right now on it's way to wall's, and then I am going to be gone on a trip for a couple weeks, and a couple other variables, so I will probably let you know in about a month or so, ohh also how much would you charge to do a rebuild on a turbo and would you be able to pull the motor to replace the front engine cover seal? thanks alot man.

Get a boost gauge and figure out your boost pattern before 'getting it fixed'.

At least you will have an idea if there is something wrong with the turbo system / solenoids / vacuum lines etc in addition to what you 'know is wrong'.

Do you mean this one?

I saw it at a Honda meet in Winnipeg last fall. It looked clean but i didn't talk to the owner.

I'm pretty sure a guy named Joel owns that car. I went to check out that car at The Car Store on Main when I was in the market for a 7. He's selling it for $14k and it comes with a 1-year bumper-to-bumper warranty or something.

The meet was pretty good. I was proud of of the turn out. Three 3rd Gens, two 2nd Gens and one 1st Gen.

There's a link to the pics i took. I for got to check my camera settings and it turns out my ISO was waaayyy too high, thats they turned out pretty shitty.

Here's the thread i made. I hope you guys can see the pics. We had a good time during the cruise to DQ. Met a few ladies along the way.

I'm for sure gonna set one up this September once i get my license back and have my Seven on the road. And if any of you guys are in Steinbach, send me a PM. I'm always down for going for a little photo shoot and just hangin out with rotary owners.

well, I cant say that, as of right now the car is sitting, and I'm still waiting on the money so It hasn't been fixed yet, I will also have to go to walls for them to properly tune it as I will be going aftermarket everything so It could be tough getting shoptime as they are very busy
