ON Widefoot Pedal Extender: Gauging Interest

Hello ladies and Gents,

I have been in contact with David of Widefoot (same ones who make the sway bar mounts) and i am in the process of getting pedal extenders. I just wanted to see/offer a chance to you guys if anybody was interested in getting a GB going.

These pedal extenders would be a great upgrade for those of us who track their cars, specifically with helping close the gap between our brake and gas pedal for heel-and-toe driving.

There are two types of extenders, a smaller one for foot-roll and a larger on for Heel-and- toe.

The price for the smaller one is $40 USD and $45 USD for the larger one.

Heres an email reply from David"

"Pricing stays the same (there's a lot of machining
that goes into these, and not much profit margin), but with an order of
at least four adapters the shipping would be $20 total, with an order of
at least eight adapters the shipping would be free."

David Breslau Design, Inc

Here are pics:

hopefully theres good interest so i can order mine (and the rest of your orders) and I was thinking that the May 17th meet would be a good place for me to deliver the pedals

If there are any further questions please pm me.

P.S. I am in no way affiliated with Widefoot, just thought I would give you guys a chance to get this functional piece and save on shipping

Heres David's information and he should be dropping by this thread

Hi Shifty,
Good luck with this, we'll see how it goes. No rush,
you can give it some weeks for people to become aware of
the offer.

And thanks for getting it going!

Hi DT,
Unfortunately, I never owned a 1st or 2nd gen car, and didn't get enough time to
play with one to design a pedal adapter. It's just for 3rd gens currently...

Thanks,
David

Hi Shifty,
It's early days yet, I'm sure some more folks will come out of the woodwork.
You might try posting to the 3rd gen forum to give a broader alert to the
Canadians owners - do you think that would help?

Hey Penguin, this GB has been dead for a while for the lack of interest so i went on it alone. Got the pedal and i absolutely love them. My advice to you is to shoot David an email with the address i provided above.

Oh and i see you are in the states already so it doesnt make sense to do a Canadian GB...lol

Well, Ken I found your thread, but from what I've read they don't make this item any more.

Would something like these work for you guys?
This is an RX8, but I could fabricate something similar for the RX7.
