There was an 71 r100 that i had my eye on for the past little bit in the county, and now it's gone.
I guess i should have got it quicker eh? I could have got it, but i woulda had to eat spam for the next month. (It would have been worth it now that i think of it LOL) But the wife would have killed me.
So yea, who got that rare/cheap deal? And what parts are you able to save?

 

If you're talking about the one that was on kijiji, I picked it up! It's in pretty tough shape, but I'm gonna do my best to save it.

I started that thread after I bought it. There are a few pics of it in there. I need to get it out now that the weather is nice and wash all the moss and pine needles off of it. Take some better pics too while I'm at it.

I saw those Celicas too. Kinda wanted to drag one of them home, but they are pretty tough. I really liked the Vaxhaul Viva too. He has some really cool cars just rotting away there. Where abouts are you located in Ontario? Would be cool to come by and see you're car.

 

Wait, where is there celicas? I love them and my buddys dad just finished his last year and is onto his 510 now.

 

Same guy I bought my R100 from has 2 of them. They were both in worse shape than the R100 though. They would be great for parts though, or if you were really ambitious. Ya, the guy seems like a decent guy, he just wanted to save all the cool stuff from the crusher he says!
I live about 30min north of Belleville, I may need to call on some members to help wire the ole girl up when shes ready. Either way when she hits the road, i will make sure the 1st trip is to the dragon with the crew!

j man1100- If you happen to talk with (joe) is his name about the celica's and you just need parts, i would be willing to grab them for you and ship if needed!

 

He did a good job of saving them, he has quite the collection. He has cars tucked away that I've never even heard of before. Really likes his old Austins and MG's too. He was a really good guy to deal with. Helped us get the car out of the frozen ground and even pushed the car with his minivan to get it on the trailer. (Our winch was broken.) Did he show you his cars that he actually drives, and his race car?

 

You meantion old Austin's.... Any Austin Healey's?? We are restoring one now, and could use another!

 

No austin healeys that I remember, but he has a bunch of austin trucks and sedans. I thought the trucks were old jeeps at first. Even if he doesn't have what you're looking for, you'll probably leave with something cool. There's plenty to choose from.
