Where'd you guys get your parts?
Hey guys. I was at the local Canadian Tire yesterday, and he quoted me like, $350 for the K&N FIPK for my 86. I thought that was a little steep. Where do you guys get your parts like that? If possible, I was thinking...if someone can find me a better deal than that, would you be willing to pick it up for me, and have me send you a money order for it + shipping? I don't really live near any performance shops, and TO is a good 3 hours away. I'd really appreciate that.

Just search for the part, then go to Partsource to order it through Keystone. This saves shipping. Usually only takes 3 days to get the stuff

We get a lot of stuff from the states as well. Just be sure to ship USPS not UPS!
Same goes with eBay - watch those shipping charges.
Other than that, most local speed shops will be able to get you what you want, and places like Performance Improvements have tons of Filters and stuff. Most people search on the internet and this forum, decide what excat part they want (Make, model, etc) and then start calling around. If you call a shop and say "I need a K&N filter - part number xxxxxx" they will more than likely give you a quote. Then you just buy from, the cheapest one! That $350 quote is way too much.
Good luck!
