What's Ontario like with rotary's

Me and the wife have been chatting and have wondered about moving back. We have two mid 90 Chevy trucks and a 13B-PP powered FB and a 13B street port REPU. We would be looking to move back to my hometown of Brantford so I'm somewhat close to Cayuga speedway. Don't think i would insure the FB for street use but when is the cut off year for your emission testing.

cut off year is '87.. if your car's VIN year is 87 or earlier, you don't need the 3-year e-tests. They used to carry this date along - for example next year it would be '88, then '89 - but they stopped that in 2007, so now it's just '87 or older.
That being said, if you ever get caught without your emissions stuff during a check of some sort, you still get a ticket. I believe it was dj55b with his FB who got a ticket for running a straight-through exhaust, but I don't remember the story exactly so someone else can chime in.
EDIT: the environmental guys know their stuff about emissions equipment too. I was stopped in my car and at the time I had no air pump connected. He looked to see that it was there first before anything else, then asked if my cat. was hooked up to it properly, still running the auxillary ports, etc. He was VERY thorough when he checked my car. He gave me a day's courtesy to reattach the air pump and get the e-test done. I faxed him the new paper not 3 hours later and he happy after that .

I would only put permits on the race car if not just trailer it to the track. The REPU would only get driven once and awhile. Our trucks on the other hand are daily drivers one is a lifted 2dr fullsize blazer and the other is a 95 C1500 extended cab short box lowered 5 in the front and 7 in the rear.

Right now moving is a thought that is on the back burner however 5 months ago it wasn't even an idea.
