So what would the ratio be with omp?

i understand 100:1 without, and someone mentioned a half rule, so 50:1?

I use the legend and amsol (expensive) mostly for the odour problem, they seem to be alot less stinky when running catless than the cheaper stuff, therefore, less sweat around policy.
I would not recommend marine 2cy b/c they add in "environmental additives" that aren't nessesarily needed or good for a wankel, you'd be better off just buying ultra cheap 5ndime 2cy.
half with omp on. Sohn adapter is really the best solution for omp + light premix.

With an OMP you want to go the other way, with lighter premix. (50:1 is twice as much premix.)
So, if you went half, it would be 200:1, which, honestly, is still a lot if a functioning OMP. Especially if you still have a cat.
I run about 400:1 in my RX8, but that's just for a little extra insurance.

150:1 is more than adequate for 'everyday use'.
For hard driving, lapping, or in our race car, we use 128:1.

If you're on a rotax cruise, you can always tell the guys who are using too much premix

I'll probably go with the 400:1. I am always down to have a bit of extra insurance.

Spoken by eViL Stink himself

Thanks for all the input guys! While the subject of this thread is common, it seems that there aren't many threads with Canadian input.

I use the Shell Advance, when it goes on sale at CT for about 20$ - 4L.

I use approx 100:1 but then again I'm not **** retentive about it. If I stop to fuel up and realize I forgot my premix at home, I'll wait until next fill-up to top-off the 2-stroke. Unless of source I was under a quarter tank and filled her up completely, then I go straight home and refill.

One very important thing is it has to be TC-W3 or Jasco FC rated.

So i am using 400:1 as of Sunday, with Redline Racing 2stroke, and I don't notice any scent from the exhaust.

Cheers,
Justin
