What to do.....sell.....keep....wait
Hey all. Well its been way too long since Ive last owned a rotary powered vehicle and im feeling its time I get back in the game....Once you owned an rx you will never look at other cars the same :p
Anyways, im trying to decide what path i should go down. I currently own a 89 r32 gtr which I posted some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Im debating if I should sell the car and get myself an FD again as that's what I previously owned, should I sell it and pay off my debt and wait for the hopefully new rx series to come out or should I keep the skyline. Im well aware that this is all a matter of opinion and personal choice. I just cant bring myself to make a decision so id like to hear some peoples opinion. So shoot away, lets hear what the forum thinks.

That is a damn nice ride. I can't imagine why you would want to sell it.
But obviously it doesn't do it for you; you're lusting over an FD.
I'm sure you can sell that car for a pretty penny. So sell it now, pay off your debts, but don't get your hopes up for the next RX...it might be too expensive or to far into the future.
Get out of debt, but start shopping for an FD. You had one before, you need one again. Obviously nothing else will do.

I'm surprised not many people have commented.
John is corrected in saying you doing know how long it will be until a new rotary powered vehicle breaks into our market, or how expensive it will be. If it comes in at a GTR pricetag, are you fine with that? Would you rather spend that kind of money in making the 'ultimate' FD?
At the end of the day, driving enjoyment is what it should come down to, and you won't know how that is in the new vehicle until you test drive it of course.
Frankly for the time being, if your not satisfied with your R32, I'm sure you could get rid of it for a pretty penny, and pick up an FD. Maybe you can find a stock one, and just leave it stock until the new 'rx-9' comes out, and then decide from there. Atleast you can be sure that a stock LHD vehicle will still fetch a good amount in a few years.
At the end of the day, I couldn't justify spending money on something that isn't satisfying the reasoning behind it. If my summer car didn't satisfy my needs, I'd get rid of it, you got one for the winter that might as well just use year round then.

Nice car , hows the RHD market in SK ? , If you can sell it for a reasonable price ( to you ) and not take a huge loss, then do it. And jump into the RX7 of your liking.
I wouldn't count on a new rx series just yet. So work around the R32 or FD .
Either way, nice car.

That R32 is dope, I would keep that thing for sure!!! If you're feeling the rotary itch, maybe you could get into a cheap 2nd gen chassis for road racing or time attack or something. Any race series' around your town for an N/A FC?
