Were to get seats redone

I would like to get some work done on my driver seat.

Anybody know a good upholstry shop that can do this?

I want to remove some padding on the seat to lower my seating position in an attempt to fit in the car with my helmet.

You could probably do it yourself.

I've taken upholstry off before (not 7 seats, something else) and it wasen't much work. Although it was a simple 2 piece seat and I don't know what seats you have.

My seats are leather. All I would like to do is remove the bottom cushion and have a removable seat padding so that I can take it off when I hit the track. In hopes to give me some extra room. To much work for me

thanks for the help.

In all honesty ii think the best guys to ask would be the honda owners ans such. not to sterio type but they do the most custom interior work on their cars.
Aside from that i did redo my FC years ago here in Hamilton at Gold star i believe its called. They also ended up doing my dads corvette for him also.

+1 for Goldstar

Great work, they've done interiors for a number of restorations for us - nothing but smiles here.

They do custom stuff to, although I can't say whether or not they like it - hehe, they made custom door panels and rear seat for my uncle's 59 morris minor....so I imagine what you're talking about for your seat will be right up their alley.

hahaha, mullet cars

off topic, but I got to drive a camaro once..

the driveshaft lasted about 5 seconds and that was the end of that

Removing that layer of padding is probably not that easy, it might be better to just get a real racing seat (or two if your like that)
