Well, I've finally done it...
Blew my engine last night, I was planning on rebuilding it this winter anyways, and now I guess I have to.
It just went as I was turning a corner, it ran like ***, and wouldn't idle right. At least it lasted most of the summer, wasn't too much going on anymore, anyways....

Well, we pulled it apart tonight, it was a stuck apex seal, seems something went through the motor, but there is no damage that would make a rebuild with these parts unusable.
So I guess I only need a rebuild kit.

Needs more tuning still.
I fought with stupid clutch issues till I found out that a bent pedal was causing them all along, fixed that in 20 minutes and now its' great.
It'll be at st. thomas next weekend for windsor shootout, on racegas, slicks and skinnies.. hopefully as fast as I'd like.
at 8PSI and pigrich with hardly any timing, it's faster than my 3" exhaust/intake FD at 12PSI. Hoping to run 20+ on racegas if I can get it tuned. I really wish someone around here knew how to tune these cars well, AFR's are pretty easy but the timing map is not.

A bridgeport is out of the question for what I want to do with the car it's not an option, eventually, I will be going with a GT35R, and don't want a lag-machine, I want my hp to be usable not living up top around the 8k + range, then I get into longevity issues; I don't feel like building a motor every year or every 10 oil changes.
With a GT35R 350whp is easy achievable, more than that really isn't necessary.

Oh, and so I am ready for the next meet, I figured out how to get my tires to smoke.

No it's the engine I want, I just want something suitable for the street, something about waiting till 5k rpm to get full boost doesn't seem like too much fun whereas the GT35R will get full boost around 3-4k, I don't need raw hp, I want a car that responsive. I just know what I want, and revving to 9-10k and putting that much strain on engine components isn't somehting I want.
