Would if I could since it's supposed to be gorgeous starting Sunday. However it'll be about another month or so, fingers crossed, before the car is even ready to sit on it's wheels. Have a relatively small list of projects to finish before it's ready. Labour heavy but short list.

I had my Fb out last Friday going to a seminar at the airport, came back home still spotless so given the low snowfall this winter not that much salt residue has accumulated. And cars are meant to be driven, you can always spend more hours bonding with it by washing it.

I had the TII out in February already! I was going to get it back out this weekend, but it snowed yesterday and they salted and sanded the hell out of the roads. Looks like this coming week will be good though. Gotta replace the clutch master and slave cylinder on it and it should be good to go! The Rx-4 is another story though....

I'm going to be spending some bonding time with the 79 this weekend. Depending how things go, I will be able to get the interior buttoned up again (some audio mods, will look stock tho) while I wait for my exhaust and brake parts to arrive in the mail sometime in the next couple weeks. Might even get it outside the garage and give the old girl a good wash and then through the week a really good polishing and waxing.

I'll likely be getting the RX-7 out of the garage early in the week. This must have been the shortest off-season ever. I recall putting the car away in early December, and now it will be out long before April. Disappointed at the mild winter but hell, we get warm winters now and again.

I've had the bug for a while now. The last couple weeks have been filled with bikes in the streets here. Okay, maybe not filled, but I've seen quite a few. I need to tackle an oil leak down (pretty confident it's a line for the omp), and get a new exhaust. Got decisions with the exhaust, spend the time and try to find an oem replacement, or go with hockley's borla...

I snuck mine out yesterday for a bit of exercise too, before it got too warm in the afternoon and the streets got sloppy with melt from the remaining snow and ice. We even have rain forecast here for Tuesday - almost unheard of this early in Calgary, where the altitude and proximity to the mountains make winter a hit-and-miss engagement until at least late April most years.

Well my day was mostly successful. Got the audio mods done on the 79. Now just waiting for my Hawk HPS brake pads for the front and 2" mandrel bent pipe for the exhaust to arrive in the mail. Hope the exhaust at least comes soon as I may end up with the 7 as my only car for a while within the next week.

I'm dyin' here, but I don't know if I'm even going to have mine out this year. I'm in the midst of a some changes, and between basement renovations, a single turbo conversion, and a 9 month old baby, the '7 will probably get the short end of the stick. I do have a few things to keep me busy with it though. I might see if my friend will let me co-drive his car in auto slalom this year so I'm not totally denied the car fun this year. Who knows, things might change. Here's hoping!
