Type R or Type R Bathurst

Hey guys,

As you guys know I just purchased an FD as seen on my previous thread. So, recently I've got a deal I cannot refuse but I'm not sure because it seems too to be true. Here's the deal: There was this Type R Bathurst unit that I wanted, it had the exact things I was gonna do to my FD and I was considering of buying that instead of the one that I had chose - the only thing keeping me from getting it was the price point, it was way over my budget. So the guy I was dealing with, spoke lengths with his partner - knowing that I wanted this unit - he convinced his partner to void the price and give it away for the same price I'm paying for my original choice as long as I recommend their company for those who ask.

This is where you guys come in, I need your opinion on this, let me know what you think. I just don't know what to think, it all seems to good to be true ! Also, it would be good to state the pros and cons ! Below are the cars, they have everything listed, specs, costs, you name it.

Thanks !

You need to find out what auction grade both cars are. A good friend of mine imports cars from Japan, and he won't touch anything lower than a 3.5, and even the 3.5 are brought over here cautiously.

For that price point, why don't you get a LHD?

Hey thewird, I've actually been looking around for LHD FDs but it's kinda hard to come across and if I did, it would cost more ? Besides I can't turn back now, if I do I'll be losing money. I'm thinking of getting the R Bathurst unit though, it's a great deal after all.

Craiger, unfortunately the Type R wasn't an auction unit - it was actually bought from the dealership, but it's been inspected and deemed fit. As for the other unit (R Bathurst) I don't know yet, I'm still waiting on the specs of these vehicle, but I must say both units look immaculate ! The cars that these guys bring in are excellent.

I would get the Bathurst.. its a single owner car (or so they claim), its in such good shape, (it seems to be) if what they have posted up is true.. I would say its the better buy... and it does not come with all the extra body stuff (not my taste though either)

BUT!!!! go with the one that is the best mechanicly.... if they are both equal... go for the Bathurst... IMO
