I'm in the middle of a 6port turbo and now putting the motor in a gxl body that has had a lot of t2 stuff put into it aka the driveshalf/ rearend.

So either I find a cheap t2 tranny or cut the drive shave 8mm.. I'm on a budget so ideas.?

Get the transmission. There is a few for sale in the area. I think there is a cheap one with a cracked bellhousing.
