It really isn't much different in terms of maintenance than other cars. It's just nowhere near as forgiving, in terms of oil changes. Make sure you're on top of the maintenance, and you're good to go.

rx-7 are unforgiving in that if there is a minor problem, it will be very major.

Ex. vacuum leaks are huge, you will feel like you blew the engine and it wont pull anything, whereas a pisotn car it will only drop hp a bit. Its all relitive though.

also, hold out for a good car. ONe such car is the 90ish blue fc. hes actually on this board, and seems like he knows his stuff. if you talk to him here as well, he might even lower the price.
