But I see what you're saying, buyer beware. As it should be with anyone you deal with.

Stay away from tiger

I purchased a 13b turbo from tiger last month received engine and inspected. Found turbo inlet turbine shot and bearings out of turbo removed exhaust manifold and found number 2 rotor damaged and #2 rotor has an apex seal blown. Now i am trying to get refund. Like i said find another source for rotary motors unless you plan to rebuild the motor from the start.

Either they're ripping the government off by saying they pay less than they really do, or their markups are huge.

2 were skyline GTR's.
that is about what most shops pay

I dont know about rotary motors what kind of quality they are dealing with there but every Honda motor that i have gotten from them is still running to this day some installed 3 years ago

I go and choose which motor i want, look it over then take it never, let them deliver it.

if you think that you can call an importer up(ANY Importer) and ask them to send there best motor you are a Dreamer...

you need to go there in person do your checks

this goes for any importer regardless of rep, just tiger gets the most bad press because they are one of the biggest shops and the cheapest they deal with a ton of volume so of course you are going to hear more people complaining about them than say torontojdm or jdm direct
