thewird's 20B Track Beast Project Finally Started :D
So I finally picked up my 20b this morning. Started tearing it down and ended up doing the full teardown today lol. I'm the proud owner of block C143. I hit the jackpot with this block, everything is mint on it. Anyway, I'll let the pics do the talking, I'm dead tired...

if i had everything i needed and time to work on it, i could probably have it running in a few weeks. But realistically, i don't expect it to be running until winter time hehe. When the cold comes, my schedule will free up since no more tuning . I'm gonna be making a trip down to the states in october to get the engine machined to fit bigger studs since i don't want to be worried about the block cracking when i decide to push the boost (20+ psi).

This project should be named "Is it in yet?" because I really really want to see this completed Marco. Best of luck I hope everything goes smoothly.
...oh... and that's what she said.

Your welcome to join in. A buddy and I are planning on staying there for the weekend to go to a drag racing event (Raceway park Fall nationals, october 5-7) to see some high hp rotaries. That way when we leave, the parts will be ready making it one trip only. I'm not really into the dray racing but hey, 1000+ hp rotaries!
lol

Awesome looking project, 20b builds are the things dreams are made of. I can't wait to see how this project goes. Care to share some details on what your plans are for it? You mentioned 20psi, what's your turbo setup going to look like?

I think you've been watching too many of Aaron Cake's build videos, lol.

Got the shaft separated today, I thought it would be difficult but it was extremely easy. A few light taps with the hammer and it popped right up.
More pics! Notice how everything looks new on this motor
