Aside from the 5 people I know are going for sure, who else is coming to this?
Apparently Ian and Jay are going to be there Friday at 2pm. I better not get there and be picking my nose waiting for cr0_mag and Wahnakin Crynobi to not show up till after supper because he drives too slow.

Well, RX-7 SuperCottageParty kicked ***!!!
Although not a lot of people showed up originally (well, at all, actually) - myself, wanking&beer, twinturbocromag, wahnakin crynobi, alexthemouth and carol - we where quite surprised to see nikthefagbot show up at around 5 pm Saturday STRAIGHT from Sudbury.
Friday the weather did not play along with us, but thanks to a giant tarp, a giant fire, and about 2 two-fours of beer, we did quite well.
Jay and I almost drowned in the lake after a drunken canoeing incident. We managed to tip the canoe and almost sink it. Swimming back would have been an impossibility due to the massive amounts of weeds that where entangling us at all times. It was ******* gross. After about an hour of treading water, I realized I could stand up. We righted the canoe and made it home somehow.
After we dried off, we drank more beer.
Saturday was great. A few Chevy drivin', 350-lovin' hillbillies came to view our little riceburners. After being blinded by Ian's bling bling, they slowly warmed up to the fact that just maybe our cars where ok.
But, it took a few rides from both of us, which Ian reluctantly agreed to because, well, the hillbillies where kind of dirty, to finally convince them that 350 is not the only way of life. Classic Hillbilly comment after some 400whp, 7000 rpm action, "Man, look at my arm, I've got goosebumps!!!! I'm converted!!!!"
After that, it was basically drinking beer by the fire till 2 am, not including two more trips to the beer store, even though each person brought 24 with them....yes, we have problems.
Especially nik, who after drinking his 6 apple cyders, got into our stash of beer and decided to go nuts. He was stumbling around aimlessly, shouting something about everyone being a 'fagbot' and to get that camera out of his face. Then, after not enjoying the cottage, he decided to sleep in his car. After that proved to be uncomfortable, we went back to bed....lol....
Sunday, after greasy (and expensive, eh Ian) breakfast at Denny's, it was off for the Desert Lake cruise. We drove a great route to get there (thank's Alex) and after a little technical difficulty with my airfilter, we hit Desert Lake.
This was without a doubt the best DLR cruise we have ever done. Everybody was mashing their car on that incredible road. It is fun at the best of times, but with balding tires powersliding out of supertight 90-degree uphill corners was just amazing. Jay, my passenger, was either laughing like crazy or on the verge of throwing up. It was the best!
