Help Me find My Car Hauler…
Some dirt bag stole my trailer last night, between the hours of 9 pm (July 9th) and 8am this morning (July 10th) at a shop in Oakville
Missing is a 2001 16 ft Miska in near new condition, black in color with white stickers:
Two- JRPonline stickers on each side
Two- Rotarydynamics stickers on each fender
If you see this trailer or have any info on it PM me please!

A shop accross the street from the old Oakville Mazda Dealership.
Any info on it's location would be much appreciated and kept in confidence.
I'm hoping it was taken to commit another crime and dumped in a parking lot somewhere.
Keep a eye open for it please guys, Plate number is H67288

It's a basic open tandem car hauler with fresh black paint with a 4500 lb Runva winch... both look like new.
The tief also didn't realize it was chained and locked to a 8 inch metal pipe that is now almost pulled out of its concrete base, so the left rear wheel will be bent for sure.....help me guys

Is this what yours looked like?
I work in Oakville on Sundays so if I see it I will give you a call.

Jim, I would start looking on KIJIJI, and Craigslist, people are pretty stupid, when they are that desperate to steal peoples property.
Maybe post here too:

Then you can beat his *** with a tire iron.

Sorry to hear of this. Unfortunately, thefts of this sort are extremely common; amongst the local racers and autocrossers in the Calgary Sports Car Club (maybe 300 participants, maybe 1/4-1/3 of whom might have trailers for their cars), it seems like we have one or two a year go missing, and I can't recall any ever being recovered. Typically they are stolen by contractors, who may paint them, or just go on using them, or they're flipped for a quick buck.
A good receiver lock is probably the best defence, since as you found, chains just get ripped away or cut with bolt cutters.
Checking the ads and even a WTB on kijiji and Craigslist sound like good ideas. Don't expect much from the cops other than a report you can submit to your insurance - they can't even do much with much easier to track vehicle thefts due to volumes, so unless it happens to be abandoned somewhere, trailers just disappear. The fact yours is likely damaged might make it easier to trace yourself - try talking to local RV and trailer dealers, see if anyone's brought something in with such damage.
I'm a fan of tire irons for fookin' thieves. It's not like they're ever made to repay the costs of what they steal, so I figure some debilitating injuries are fair trade.

Jim, if you need a trailer let me know. I have the exact same trailer and I can install my electric winch on mine to ease pulling the car up. I run with the 2 5/8" ball and torsion bars on mine, 7 pin hook-up and the trailer is in Oakville. Its a little older than yours though.
Trailers get ripped off all the time, but in Quebec they steal the whole truck and trailer. At least 1 rig a race gets stolen when the CCTCC guys race at ICAR or Trois Rivieres. So you can at least take some comfort in only loosing the trailer.
p.m. me if you need a trailer. If I am not using it, we can work out you coming by to pick it up.

Wow, that's great. Like FC3Sdrift said - details! I've never heard of anyone getting their stolen car trailer back before. Was it because they damaged it too bad driving off with it chained that they had to drop it? Or even better, did someone spot it while the thieves still had it so the law/tire iron authorities could deal with the thievin' b@$7ards?
