That's awesome!
I recognize that parking lot. I spent many a Saturday roaming around their yard back in my days at Western.
I'm looking forward to your write-up on this project.

Ah, the rust blowing off the pullies, the smoke, and carb overfilling with gas. That takes me back to '98 when I got my '76 Cosmo fired up for the first time since it sat many years down in Oregon. Congratulations!

Holy thread resurrection!
The Cosmo is still in storage. Just last week I replaced the tarp covering it for the winter, so it's certainly not sitting and rotting somewhere. I'm thinking that this summer is when I'll start working on it. Everytime I go to the yard, I'm excited to see the amazing condition the body, sills, floor pans and frame is in.

So the Cosmo has been in my shop for the past week and work has begun! Videos to be posted soon. I'm going to do a series of YouTube videos instead of long picture threads.
now, you will have some PMs soon. I'm looking for bumpers, headlight bezels and tail lights.

I had an RX-7 to work on, you know.
Even if you don't have bumbers, tail lights and headlight bezels would be awesome. Bonus if you also have a passenger front fender because mine got totalled last Friday when the passenger tire exploded (first time it held air in about 20 years).

Ya shipping things from Australia/New Zealand is a bastard. Learned that the hard way building the Rx-4. I'm really not looking forward to building my R100. Maybe we should organize a container from Australia? I could use a bunch of repair panels from Phil's Rotary for the R100.
