I was driving home from work thinking, "YAY!!, finally a can get started on the car!!" 10 minutes outside of London it starts snowing. By the time I hit the city the roads are slick and lightly covered. By the time I get home I can't see the painted lines and my ABS is going nuts. Lousy Smarch weather.

I worked on my new fuel pump in the barn on Saturday until I couldn't feel my toes anymore. I'm glad I did it on Saturday and not Sunday! Regardless, it felt good to get my hands on her again for the first time in several months. Hoping to have her on the road for the spring.

Yesterday felt terrible with cold rain dripping down my neck...
But last night we got dumped on again. School buses are cancelled.
I shovelled at least 4 inches this morning, and it was still coming. The drive to work had white out conditions.
I thought...it can't keep up all day, can it? Damn right...it's time for Spring Break.

It's still snowing there? Now I really don't want to come home. Two weeks here in California has been awesome as usual, beautiful cars and weather, everything (except healthcare unless you have benefits) cheaper. Got parts shipped to me here from Mazdaspeed and Corksport, no duties, taxes, or ridiculous shipping or brokerage fees. Loving it, always do.

We're at 121 consecutive days with snow on the ground here in Calgary, high of -13C today. Usually, we don't go more than about 3 weeks without a chinook blowing in and giving us +5 or +10 for a few days and melting all the snow down to brown grass and grey dust. I miss brown grass and grey dust.
However, I am going to Anaheim Sunday - California sun, here I come!

Loving the snow! Going to put the snow blower in the back of the Insight after lunch, then drive to the shop and clear the parking lot. Then into the shop under the warm air from the industrial heater to finish cleaning the undercoating out of the Cosmo engine bay.
I hope we get more snow next year because the snow blower will be totally overhauled and sport a Megasquirt based EFI system as well as heated handle bars.

Well, we finally got a couple warm days strung together.
The snow banks are gone.
I took down the christmas lights, put away the snow shovel, and picked up the doggy land mines in the back yard.
If the weather holds, I'll take the 7 out of hibernation.
We may still see snow, but I'm not shovelling any more.
