Sixth Annual BCM - July 22, 23, 24
The Sixth Annual Bruce County Meet -
July 22, 23, 24 - 2011
FRIDAY night starts with Wrench Turning with Buggy. If you're looking for some helping hands to get your rotors hummin' right for the cruise, be sure to email me to reserve a time slot (windross@live.com). You supply the parts, the Grey-Bruce Rotorheads will supply the tools, the hoist and a helping hand. Afterwards, there will be a BBQ at my place, courtesy of the GBR. Just be sure to BYOB and your own bedding if you're going to be staying at my place Friday night and/or Saturday night.
SATURDAY starts with a homemade breakfast served up fresh by the members of the GBR.
Breakfast will include sausages, eggs, homefries, toast milk, juice, and coffee. Then it's off on our day-long cruise where we'll be visiting three different coastlines and the Niagara Escarpment along some very picturesque and twisty roads. We'll be stopping for lunch en route.
Be sure to bring your camera. There will be plenty of great photographic moments to be captured throughout the route that we're taking.
After the cruise, the Grey-Bruce Rotorheads will be serving up a fabulous Bruce county steak dinner (or chicken if you wish) back at my place. Again, BYOB will be in effect.
We'll also be having our door prize draw during dinner.
SUNDAY starts with another homemade breakfast served up fresh by, you guessed it, the GBR. After breakfast, people will be invited to cruise to the beach and take in some of the "fabulous sights" on sand and in the water.
Everyone will receive a goodie bag. Previous bags have included such items as: maps, magnets, sunblock, first aid kits and shave kits.
Everyone will also get the opportunity to enter the free draw for door prizes.
Previous prizes include such things as: digital multi-meters, tools, electric screwdriver kit, and a car polisher ... just to name a few.
Please note: in order to help off-set our costs of food and prizes, we are charging a registration fee of:
$30 (if registered by June 30th) or $40 thereafter.
Payment must be received by midnight, Sunday July 19th in order for us to plan meals, accommodation, purchase door prizes and assemble goodie bags.
Here’s what you get:
Accommodation for two nights *with Bed and Breakfast option
Friday Night Wrench Turning
Friday Night BBQ
Saturday Morning Breakfast
Saturday Night Dinner with choice of Steak or Chicken
Door Prizes
Goodie Bags
Two days of guided cruises
*additional fee applies – (price yet to be determined).
Please send your payment via PayPal to: brian.and.karah.windross@sympatico.ca
Payment received will act as your confirmation of registration for the events.
You will receive both a confirmation email as well as an update on the participant list within this thread.

Update
Hello fellow rotorheads
Here’s a quick update on registrants.
The following have paid confirmation for the three-day event:
1. Bass
2. Buggy
3. Dave
4. smaxted
5. bohnert_chris

To date, I've received many emails, phone calls and personal visits from people indicating a strong interest in being a part of this year's events. Last year we had 16 cars! We hope to at least match this for BCM 2011.
As previously stated, we are charging a small registration fee (Grey-Bruce Rotorheads members pay this as well) in order to cover the costs of the Friday night BBQ, Saturday's big breakfast, Saturday's steak (chicken optional) dinner, Sunday's big breakfast, door prizes and goodie bags. Payment is through Paypal. If you don’t use PayPal and wish to pay by cheque, you can PM me for my mailing address.
Please check the thread opener for the main details. You can PM me or post here if you have any specific questions. If you want to see some pics, details and feedback from past BCMs, check out these links:
