Well for those of you meeting up with us, just a reminder of what to bring:
1. Nicer shoes (i.e. no sneakers) in case of dress code
2. Casual pants (i.e. no jeans) also in case of dress code
3. Lots of cash to buy EvilRotor and myself birthday drinks

I'm not sure yet where we're going? Waiting to hear back from Leigh on your preferences ... But every place I've looked up on the internet had a dress code - guess you're just a snobby city! hahaha

Oh wait, I keep forgetting that not everyone is among the beautiful people like me. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get by on my looks!

 

Well, me and the -SE are on our way to Oshawa in about half an hour. I'll let my sister organize all the party stuff.

Once I get my new EMS, FD alternator from Tony, and my new dual alt pulley from Ian, my job in the GTA is done. The rest will just be gravy

I can't find a cool bar, restaurant, and parking all in the same area, if I don't know the city at all! I've been wasting hours all week, and am getting pretty frustrated. Every site asks me for a district - frig, I don't know!

Example: Say I want to go to Joe's. It's on 250 Richmond West. I want to find a restaurant nearby, well, all sites I found organize restaurants by district - I don't know the district. Next issue: Parking. I don't know the district for that either. I also don't know, if Richmond has street parking? AAARGGGH

 

Here are my suggestions:

1: Go to Chuck E. Cheese. Good Food, good fun, lots of parking.
2: Go to Dave & Busters. Same thing, but with beer
3: Go to Hamilton. Great Bars, Everything is within walking distance downtown, and there is ample parking day or night.

 

Hamilton = where god stamps out his cigarettes

 

I got an old classmate's number that now lives in Toronto and is all into the night life scene, so he helped me out... So, it's Montana's Bar & Grill for dinner, and Joe afterwards...

According to the Joe website (joeonline.ca) jeans and runners allowed

 

Be sure to do the guest list @ Joe's if you don't want everybody standing out in the cold for an hour or more.

Joe, 250 Richmond St. W (one block west of John St. and from the restaurant) around 9:30-10ish. On guestlist under Sophia +15 as well, but I didn't get confirmation of that, so if you want to put yourselves on just in case, go to www.joeonline.ca.

 

IMO, wouldn't hurt to put yourself on another guestlist somewhere else. Just in case.

Things didn't go as planned, but I still had fun! Best time was the drive back to Oshawa though... Ian got raped by another Talon, Jay and John turned all gay and gangsta. Good times.

we did have fun at that pool hall though. the loud techno music, and virgin daiquiri's, and "strutting" men made for quite an evening.

Don't know about the gay part, but a Eminem (m&m, or m7m for Ian) and Crystal Method blasting through a 2000W subwoofer in Jay's truck sure gets some attention!!!!

It was nice meeting you Jay, although I felt like I already knew you somewhat from the chats and that priceless Ian prank! Too bad about the shower though but, it seems you liked my brother more anyway LOL
