Rotary Career is Over!

And now ladies and gentleman I give you the new #01 Car..........350 Cu In, 6spd Borg T56 tranny chevy 10 bolt rear end. Translation, 400HP/400 FTlbs Torque for about $3K-4K, transmission about $500.00, rear gears about $185.00 lol. LSD for rear diff $300.00, front brakes $80.00 front wheel hubs $ 91.00..............................lol
The only thing would be a complete disclosure on the weekend costs, the parts are cheap, but you have to include a set of tires a weekend at $1000 and fuel costs of around $300, LOL. You can't have that power and grip without the 3300 lbs of ground hugging weight and fuel economy in the 4-5 mpg range.
Seriously, a great car and Al will be very fast in it, though I doubt he will get 2 wheels off the ground very often. I am looking for him to pull 1:35's all day long.

A few facts about Camaro vs RX7 lol
Fuel Mileage, RX7 got 67L/100KM at Mosport, Camaro is a fuel miser at 55L/100KM
400 Ftlbs of Torque vs 157
Tires should go about 1.5 - 2 hours, and when you break it down into 20 minute races that mean about 3 race weekends on a set.

The #01 RX7 is now safely tucked in the garage at its new home.
I do have a couple of bits and pieces (tons of engine gaskets and wheels bearing seals) etc that are for sale at 50% of their OEM prices. Also have a set of rebuildable front hubs.
