Regina and Area 7's

Thanks, Benvprov; at this point I'd consider my car "moderately" modified. I see so many guys on these boards with bigger turbos, FMIC, Haltech, monster injectors, etc, running 350-400 whp, that I really just consider my car spruced up a bit. At 10 psi, it's certainly quick, but not scary (like it was when I first got it and, I believe, the wastegate was stuck closed: holy crap!). I won't be dialling the boost up any further without checking the AF ratios with a wideband. That's been strongly advised by a number of very experienced guys on the boards and the Rtek people themselves; although the combination of the Rtek and the 720 cc injectors is supposed to maintain safe mixtures and timing at least to 12 psi, there are too many variables with individual injectors, throttle bodies, etc to take it to that level without checking. Right now the car gives me a good solid rush at WOT but I'm quite confident it's safe, which makes me enjoy it more! I do think it's plenty rich at WOT, as I usually get a pretty good whiff of fuel smell after hitting high boost. My other main objectives with the mods were to get better low-end and mid-range kick with better around town driveability, and I've definitely achieved that; the modded throttle body is probably most responsible for that, as well as the Rtek with it's lower rpm staging for the secondary injectors. Whatever the cause, it seems to be workng well, and I think I'll just sit tight, finish up a few things and enjoy it for a bit!

Well I have a few things done to my FD but I wont get to drive it as much as id like this year. I have intake, downpipe, exhaust all apexi. Greddy throtle body and intercooler piping, fluidyne rad, stage 3 cluth. I think that that sums up what I have done to it. Im puttin a water meth kit in it as soon as I get it in the mail so I look forward to that. I have a boost leak and oil pan leak right now but there both easy fixes. The boost leak is from the throttle body, just needs new gasket which I have just need to put it on. And the oil pan...well its a 5.1hour job so ill get around to that in not too long. I have quite a few plans for it, ill see what I can do this year.
Heres another pic of it when I got to Toronto on the way back home.

I really hope to see more of everyone soon. It's great that we've already met some people so far, but if there's people interested in meeting us, don't hesitate to give any of us a shout Enjoy the pics.
PS - Adam, you should have came out :P

I'm still trying to figure out a good day for everyone. I'd like to meet as many people in one trip as possible, to keep things faster paced and to save on gas but Tobias, I'll let you know when I have anything figured out. I'll actually be in Moose Jaw tonight.. leaving Regina about 9:30pm.. maybe you'll see me around. Don't hesitate to say hi

I'm down for meeting,
I'm getting a Carbon Fiber Hood for my First Gen,
and my body kit should be making its way in.
Then I've got to work on my Suspension,
I'm afraid the REX won't be out for a while!!
but when it is, lets do it up!!
