As long as that's not my "one weekend out of every four" that I have to work count me in.
Hell.. I haven't been to a rotary meet all Summer. Even if it is my weekend to work, I'll call in sick/dead/whatever to get out there

Thought you guys could use a link to the googlemap
I'm taking the 417 (which turns into the 40), then going up the 13 until I hit the 640
The 640 should take me right to Chemin Gascon, and then to Boulevard des entreprises

Will, if you're coming, bring my FRS! I never came by to pick it up after the May meet
I'm going, and bringing Steve (tempusfugitive) with me. Since it starts around noon and it's clear on the other side of montreal, I'm aiming to be meeting him at his place in Ottawa, and leaving the city between 9 and 10.
What would be a good central meeting spot?

Gah... that would mean I'd have to pick up Steve earlier than 9....
It's a little out of the way to go that far past the montreal split then have to come back again.
Is there a more central location we could meet? Maybe take in breakfast somewhere closer to the mtl split? I was originally gonna pick up breakfast along the 417 but it makes a good idea for a way to get all of us to meet up.
There's gotta be something around St.Laurent that would work.

i was just thinking, even if we left Will's place at 10:00, we would still get there for about 12:00. and i mean going at a legal pace too.
so maybe that would give Jon some time. but just my thoughts

Just to give you ottawa guys some perspective, I went to ottawa this weekend and it was about a 1:45 min drive to the corel center. @ ~125kph so you add on a 45 min drive to get to the meeting point. so its 2.5 hours at a reasonable pace.

Yeah, I was figuring it takes me about 1:45ish to get to St-anne-de-bellevue (where John Abbot is, and some of my friends went to colleage), and that's just in on this side of the island.
I was adding :45 to an hour for the extra two highway stretches to get me to the other end of the island.
I was figuring I'd do between 120-140km the way there.
2.5-3hrs seemed a safe bet. Hell, if I got there early, that'd be fine with me.
Any suggestions for breakfast places near St. Laurent? I haven't been down there in a while, but there's gotta be something.
