I thought English was a prerequisite for university . At least it was for me.......

I have had the unfortunate privilege of dealing with pur, and i will not make that mistake again.

And not with my rotary, BUT my Supra, the cars they`re ``supposed`` to be known for.

I will never bring any of my cars there again.

.. Know a fellow who had a fair amount of work 'supposedly' done there, he was, to say the least, not at all impressed with the work nor the HUGE bill for it. He has ended up redoing most of the wiring for it..

From what I understand of the place, it's backed by a fair bit of cash, however the owner(s) are hands off.. there is no one that actually works there that knows what they are doing, They are proof that money tossed at advertising and promo., is worth more then actual good work & word of mouth.

Are you being sarcastic in your response?

You really need to drop the text type speech as it is of no value in this world.
You are asking for help here in this thread and many others but you don't have the courtesy to write out your query in plain English. How do you expect people to help you when you give them a migraine when they read your posts? You have shown by the above quote that you can do it. So stop insulting the readers of your posts with nonsensical dribble.

I've met the owner, nice enough guy and a clean shop.

They have a dyno and yes they are known for supra's and nissan's..

Back to the wideband, I tune with one and I couldn't tune without it. That is a very important source of data, especially for an rx7.

if your a tuner shop with a dyno, shouldn't matter if he has one, you NEED one so you should be able to supply one if needed.

They asked him if he had one... he doesn't. Yes they sell parts and he can buy one if he decided too. And in the first post he stated he didn't need one and I disagreed.

If you were suggesting that they would have the wideband O2 in stock that would work with his standalone or data logger. You can't, not all wideband O2's are the same...

http://wbo2.com/lsu/default.htm

There are hundreds of different part numbers...

Back to Pur automotive, I've only heard good things... Clean, organized, and the cars they've finished speak for themselves....
