PRODUCT REPORT---Brake Rotors

Not to highjack the thread,but since your talking brakes.....
What would you all recommend as a decent setup for a stockish '85 RX-7 in the Targa Newfoundland Tarmac Rally?
Would stock rotors/calipers and a decent set of pads be up to the job?
My only experience so far has been with Hawk HP+ and stock rotors/calipers on a Subaru.
Being a road race on closed public roads you have to deal with bumpy,dirty brake zones and sometimes longish straight sections where you don't use the brakes at all....so an "all out" race pad may not be suitable.

PS I should add there is a couple of town stages where the heavier cars(such as Suby's)tend to set the rotors glowing.
