ok....theres a prob....
i have S4 TII manifold, fuel rail......but im not sure if the injectors are S4 or S5.
seller told me that it doesnt matter...(although i did specify S4 when i bought them)
when i install the injectors onto the rail there is a 2-3mm of free space with ALL of the plastic rings n stuff on already.
what could be the problem?
what color code is the S4 and S5 injectors?
white = s4
red = s5 ?
please help really need to get the car done up.

I used these same injectors in my 87 RX-7 with the same manifolds I gave you.
I had no problems with fitment. The only thing i did not sell you from my setup were the fuel rails. Please make sure you have the correct fuel rails for the S4 TII manifolds I sold you before you state that I obviously gave you the wrong parts.
Also make sure you have all the correct gromets on the injectors, if you are unsure, please check with mazda.
Thanks.

no the parts you gave me are fine....
just that i looked elsewhere for the other parts i needed....
i got an S4 top rail and 2 secondary injectors.......
the guy gave me purple injectors.....
but the thing is....there STILL shouldnt be any space between the rail/injector/manifold
when the injector is installed......
whats wrong with it?

All 2nd gen injectors are Bosch/Denso style and look like this:
Physically they are the same and will swap. In fact this style of injector has been the most common style in use for many years. Only recently have manufacturers switched to a smaller, thinner style injector.
You should have a rubber o-ring at the top and a rubber isolator below it as shown in the picture. Additionally there is another rubber o-ring at the bottom where it meets the manifold/center plate.
S4 and S5 fuel rails are different.

yes i have those installed...
the thing is....the injectors seem to be too short..i measured them to be 7.6cm
but then again i wouldnt think that injectors would have different lengths right?

They all have the same lengths. If you are using the wrong fuel rail, then the injectors won't fit.
Also if you are missing the air bleeds in the manifold/iron then the injectors won't seat.

whatever series turbo intake manifolds you are using
should have the same series fuel rail, I'd guess.
though I think that they're identical dimensionally between series, just the material they're made out of changes.
Are you missing the air bleeds/atomizer on the manifold?

arent s4's low impedance and s5's high impedance?
seriously what should i look for to see what im missing or have wrong?
right now im thinking that the rail might be wrong....
or some plasic parts have gone missing....
i have the o rings on the injector top.....
the plastic ring thats on the bot of the injector....
the plastic parts that goes inside the holes in the manifold....what else can be missing?

ok, so you are talking about the BOTTOM/Primary rail, correct? here are some diagrams from the Mazda Parts Fische:
Series 4:
13-253 O-RING X 2
13-252 GROMMET
13-257 INSULATOR
13-2601 SOCKET, AIR BLEED
13-2611 PLATE, MIXING
for comparison, Series 5:
please note that not only are the rails different between series, but also between turbo and non-turbo.

ok after checking out the diagram.....
i have the airbleeds and everything....
so what could be the problem?
i have comfirmed that the seller sent me a S5 rail with S5 injectors
but size should be the same on those!

All injectors are the same size.
It is the intake that is different. If you try and fit an S5 rail on an S4 intake then it won't work. At least in my experience it won't as everytime I have accidentally mixed them up I end up with the exact same issue you are seeing.

look at the diagrams, the rails are clearly different. you must use the appropriate rail for the corresponding manifold. S4 manifold = S4 fuel rail, regardless of what series injector you use.

I already told you that would be a problem in PM's a couple of weeks ago
Anyways, Get your hands on a S4 TII secondary fuel rail and low impedance injectors to match the ones i gave you, then get that car running

At this point I'm assuming he has 2 S4 550's and 2 S5's (not sure if they're in fact 550's but i'd hope so.)
I sold him a few things back in january, including 2 S4 TII low impedance injectors and S4 TII manifolds. I'm assuming he'd rather change secondary fuel rail and injectors instead of buying a set of S5TII manifolds to match the secondary rail
Thanks for playing Aaron.
P.S. come pick up that lower control arm before I throw it out.
