Wow, we're getting a good turnout for this one. Hope everyone remembers their 2 way radios. They'll come in handy.

Bass, have you thought of doing a Google map with the route with stops, so we can all upload it to our GPS's?

A number of years ago, we decided not to give out maps/directions of the cruise route for a number of reasons, but primarily to avoid the temptation of racing. It will be very difficult for people to get lost on this route as we have a number of safeguards in place. It will be a follow-the-leader cruise with our hosting members located throughout the caravan, including the tail. I have given my cell number to those who have requested it, and FRS's will be used as well.

No prob, it was just a thought. If it works don't mess with it.

Hey, my brother has a radio and he said it's like a cb radio, is that the right one to have? I don't know anything about them.

Should be the same thing. These are just the little hand held FRS radios that are like walkie talkies.

Yup, as long as it's not an actual hand-held CB radio. They run on a different set of frequencies.

I agree with this one. A lot of work goes into planning these type of things and never mind driving around using you own gas. Most people don't read it anyway knor people return all the pace notes only to produce more for the next year. I find that people will pay more attention specially if you do it like what the bikers do.

Good luck with the event and I might be able to make it on Sunday.

Thanks Bass for a great cruise.. I don't think we got to do the drive-by filming though, that would have been cool... never been to the west side of Ontario ever until now.

The roads of grey-bruce are always fun to drive, thanks to everyone for coming out. It was an awesome time. The largest turn-out we have had so far. Thanks to Bass, Nismo_Convert, Buggy and chris_bohnert for donating food and time. Without them this event would never have come together.
It was too bad not everyone stuck around for supper when we got back on Saturday night. We had the prize draw on Sunday after breakfast...Great prizes were won. Thanks to Mac Tools and Snap-On for their prize donations...
