off topic, but...actually single pistons will probably last longer, just won't stop as good. the 4 piston calipers can be LESS reliable sometimes, whereas the 1 piston design is very foolproof...

I will post up my cell number and stuff.
Mazdabation I will be up there when my car gets out of the shop. Should be around July 18th.
As for brakes I would not worry about it. The route is fun. And has a good mix of everything IMO.
I will know rates by friday.

Cool...im on holidays that week so we'll go through it to get it down pat.....
I believe Mr Zoom, 2K2miata and I will all be posting phone numbers When more things are finallized.
If anyone needs a place to stay in the hamilton area, I am letting some do so at my house. I have a few already confirmed plus some camping out in the back yard LOL. please let me know as room is running out.

I haven't posted in a really long time. But I will actually be bringin out my rx-7 at the end of July. It is in Fort Erie, so I will already be in the area. Sad thing is that I am bringing it out to sell it. I am in way over my head in bills and have to sell it. Hopefully I will find someone looking for one. Just let me know where and what time, I will definitely be there. I'd like to enjoy a few more rides before someone else gets it.

Okay I talked to my hookup for hotel rooms
He said he will do rooms for 110$ a night. He normally can get 125 for them in the summer. But this is a decent hotel not a **** hole. But there are plenty of hotels on the lane.

okay, I'm confused.
1: I WILL BE THERE.

but... WHERE am I going? I will need to leave work early on saturday, I guess WHEN do we meet up? burlington and saturday just aren't quite specific enough for me
if we meet up at burlington at 4PM then I can leave work at 3.... that would work perfectly for me because its only 2 hours early.

The actuall cruise will be on Sat, I havent spoken with Mr zoom in a bit, but i believe we will be either meeting by noon (12pm) or leaving at that time. if you arrive in burlington by 4pm we will almost be in the falls by then. Once in the falls we will end the cruise with dinner.....
The place of meeting has been chosen, im just waiting on Mr zoom to clarify with me if he agrees with it, then it will be posted.
I believe Mr Zoom will be comming down my way early this week in the evening so we can go over the cruise from start to finish. As soon as this is done info will be posted.....

Ok i'm going to try and make it as well.

also, i made it yesterday for the 240 cruise and drift session in the back hills and twisties.
Too many cars, and too much fog. I was in one of the cars that got rearended when the road came to a T.
The car suffered minimal damage, but the guy who rear ended us destroyed his whole silvia front end, hood, fenders everything.
If we are going for a twisty drive, i say we plan it out, and EVERYONE who wants to come, has to buy / have a FRS radio with them, not in for getting hit by someone.

The car suffered minimal damage, but the guy who rear ended us destroyed his whole silvia front end, hood, fenders everything.

The last two meets. I've been advising everyone that this is not a race to the falls rather a scenic cruise. I can not stop people from racing through the route yet the same people bitches and complain about the pace notes and such... I take the time and spend the gas to give everyone directions to follow.
The last thing I want is to host a cruise/meet with accidents.
I always advice everyone to carry an FRS. Details will be said on the the day of the cruise.

i just mean, the 240 club specifically went out drifting later on.
If we ended up doing that, everyone HAS to have radio's.
But a cruise is fine by me, i have a radio i can lend someone if needed, as i have 2.
There not the greatest, but they work good enough.
