New guy..

hey, names Louis... I like to say i'm friends with Joe (RPM) but who knows how he feels :P haha.

anyways, just picked up an 87' turbo II. used to own an 88 GX, so the turbo II should be a huge step up...

I also own an 1988 MX-6 GT (yes thats the turbo one) and have owned a few other turbo mazdas (including two probes)

Welcome. Does the TII have anything done to it? What kind of condition is it in?

It could use some body work but the floor and underneith are really good, the guy before me had the intake off to change the injectors but gave up when trying to put the upper half of the IM back on... so I have to do that and pray the motor isnt blown, but I have receipts of the engine rebuild at 162k and its at 197 now. so i've got at least a little hope!

as for mods, he had a beat racing fuel cut removal thing, pilar pod and a cone filter, other then that nothing.. not even a boost controller.

hi kevin!

Hello...

What colour is the car, so we will know when we see you?

Probably a good thing it didn't have a boost controller, otherwise you would be replacing the engine!

Welcome to the end of your wallet man. Awesome choice let's see some pics. I saw beat up red FB driving around town yesterday. I wanted to spin around and follow him then beat his head in. I don't know what he could be thinking. Oh anyone in London that likes the Evo, go to Wilson Mitsubishi on Warncliffe and check it out. They had one in the showroom and the guy said they were getting a couple more later that day. Beautiful car, and only $41K for the base GSR model. I almost considered trading the FB and Sunfire for it, but I'm willing to bet my credit isn't good enough and they probably wouldn't give me enough for the FB.

I do all my own work too and it's been expensive so far, over $6K after shipping and duties. But I know in the end it'll be worth it.

haha, the MX6's can take it, rx7 should too... right? haha.

this is like opposite for me, normally i'd blow the turbo and the enigne would be fine, now i will blow the engine and the turbo will be fine.
