Looks like the weather is not going to be our friend.

Looking at the weather radar, we may get a small sprinkle of rain, but tis very low probablility and very brief. We will be done and headed home long before anything bigger happens.

It was nice meeting some new faces, and of course seeing some familiar ones.
I didn't bring a camera with my but a buddy on the forum found a picture of my car uploaded on facebook. Kind of strange but thanks for letting me know Nick.

Great day guys!
8 FDs all parked together was quite a sight, and a rare one at that.
Was excellent to shoot the breeze, look under hoods, and put faces to names and forum names. Pics to follow.

Found some pictures on the other site. I recognize a few cars. I wish I would have got a closer look at that crazy truck!

I was the one with the red FC Vert there. Not happy about being parked away from the rest of the rx7's. I was told the parking lot was full when I arrived and to park on the grass where a new row of cars will start. No problem. Next thing I knew cars were lining up in rows in the middle of the parking lot, full my a**! Two Verts stuck by the washrooms, nice. I even asked to be moved, but with no luck. Lets just say a few words were said between me and some dicks from Mazda3 club. Great show but really bad oraganization. It was good to meet Double J and a few others! Looking forward to next year!

Oh man.... I wish the the FC vert can park together with us.....
I didn't like the fact that they combined the "Best RX-7" and "Runner up RX-7" with the "Best RX-8" and "Runner up RX-8", to "best rotary" and "runner up rotary".
Secondly, no class for the Miata MX-5 at all? There were like six or seven MX-5 there, and the MoM 2012 website stated there is MX-5 class.
The Trillium Miata Club often host MoM event back in the days, its just so weird the MX-5, the MX-6, the MX-3 don't have their class, when these car signed up and showed up. The organizer changed the class/category without notice. Its good meet for the 7s, I guess.... total of eleven RX-7s in MoM 2012, for sure made their history~

Nice seeing you guys again. It was a shame about the FCs being split up. Funny how there's 1 rotary class for 7s and 8s but 2 classes for 1 car, the 3s... and no love for the miatas.
I think the 3 club should know that there was more going on at Mazda before the 3 came out...
good turnout nonetheless!

It would have been nice to have all the 7's together. I heard Joe was over with the fc crowd but I didn't see him when I wondered over there. They really put those guys out of the way

The parking lot was starting to get a bit snug. They had asked me to park in front of the other FD's ( and then a few others arrived after as well). Beggers can't be choosers but I would have rathered parked along side of the cars instead of blocking them in.
Adding in the fc's ( as I mentioned I would liked to have happened) would have made a tight spot even tighter.
Regardless it was a good time.

It was a MUCH better rotary turnout then last year's MOM although I missed some of the 7's since I came and left early. Couldn't commit to the full day so I didn't bring my Fb, wonder if we should host the next MOM and make sure parking designations are better organized.
BTW, Double J that was me you almost ran into entering Glen Haffy (LOL!). On the 1968 BMW bike.
