Looks like its going to be sunny with some clouds and 10*C. Couldn't be better considering the time of the year imo.

I thought I over heard Dave saying the car put out 272HP or so. If that is true how is he pulling so hard on some of those cars.

I must have not heard correctly.

Don't think Dave would mind, you'd have to talk to him about being a helper. But you can come spectate no problem.

Thanks to Dave for hooking me up last minute with a set of brake pads. Wouldn't have been able to attend otherwise.

See you guys there tomorrow.

Good luck. His car looks like it's on rails. He takes the corners so much sharper than there others and still has a fair bit of speed.

You should get a tranny like his

I need a tranny that is streetable :P, not a sequential dogbox. Don't gauge the lines by his video. He is mingling with other cars in a race which he used to test his car lol. So his lines aren't the ideal lines. I actually looked at the video and asked him wtf is up with your lines and he laughed at me and then explained why. And then it was so obvious I was like lol too.

Street able? Come on that tranny is work able. You just need a few trunk monkeys to push start the car like he had =)

It doesn't need to be push started, he was just saving the clutch since its very delicate. The problem is the noise and the fact that it needs to be rebuilt occasionally.

Thanks to Dave http://www.mazdees.ca/ for the track day today and Jo Demarco from Dragonwerks http://www.dragonwerks.ca/index.html for showing me some lines around the track.

It was a great day. Awesome weather insane price to be at mosport for the day. I had a few small issues. Popped my oil filler neck off and blew oil all over the engine second session out. Third session out broke my sort shifter but Jo had an awesome socket and extension that fit in it's place perfectly so off I went. 4th or fifth session out broke or blew out some gasket on the turbo manifold so that was all for me.

Over all improved somewhat and can't wait till next year. Going to buy a racing seat and harness.

Shifted a few times at 8000+rpm. 8000rpm is fun
