I believe your pillow is still in my basement, and yes you can crash here again if you wish.

Thanks!
...and I still have tequila that I bought when I was in the Bahamas. Less weight for better mpgs. lol

I'm pretty exited for this. Getting some brand new rear tires on the weekend + alignment.
*I ruined my car at DGRR.

Jason, I may have to join that party.

I've replied to the e-mail, but haven't yet received a response, is this what everyone else has been experiencing?

I was kidding about the tequila. I also ruined my car at DGRR stripped the paint off the wheel wells and 30+ paint chips in the hood on the way home in the snow and the rain.

Ya, I haven't heard or gotten anything back yet either. Would love to do the lap in the 8, but I'm on the first weekend of my vacation, and I'm driving back from Quebec where need to come home with the truck, so I guess I'll just have to run in shotgun in my buddy's Speed6.

Last email was to spread the word.

I'm pretty sure we'll have to pick up our tickets at the little hut that's just before the main entrance to the track.

Then again, they have done some major reno to the track this year. I'll have to scope the place out and see what changed.

Word is on the GTA Rx8 FB page that if you email them asking for a confirmation, they'll email you back with one

Wasn't that the case for the first email? They asked for a pic of the car we were going to bring?
You would think that's confirmation enough?

lol, yeah.
I couldn't imagine getting an email to come out, driving all the way out there and them saying, sorry your not on the list, you didn't double confirm the confirmation.
I believe they have a designated place to distribute Mazda swag with the tickets like last year.

Marlin Langeveldt (20B3Rotor on this forum) will be piloting the Can-Saf Motorsports RX8. Be sure to stop by and say hi and cheer us on! We'll also be throwing a party on the inside of the track, between corners two and three, our DJ has played in Miami, New York, etc. come on by!

I'll be there too, but not in the RX this time.... not enough seats. I'll keep my eyes out for all you guys!

For those of you who aren't getting your tickets through Mazda or are interested in going but don't want to/can't spend the $70 for the weekend, here's a tip. If you order single day ($50) or weekend passes ($70) on the Mosport website Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Home enter the promo code SPEED. That will save you 50% on your tickets!

Ya, I'll be there with the Xterra, I need the truck for the 3 weeks that I'll be home. The car would be more fun, but not at all useful....

Ok, so out of curiously, I was looking at the schedule, and I noticed the parade lap is still not mentioned in terms of time. Just Keeps referring to the website for time. I tried to check the website but the site is down
It's on the sat, correct?

that's a shame... if that's the case, I won't be able to make it..
I get that track time is precious.. but why change the system when it was working just fine.
Not many people going to make it on the Friday. People do have to support this nasty habit.
