Actually Jason, the RSVP stated if you have not received your tickets by July 16th we were to contact them, like I did. But thanks for talking to them on Monday and I hope you can sort it out and everyone doesn't have to email them.

Postal service is always slow. Especially after the strike
I think the package will show up on Monday o Tuesday. Plenty of time before the race

Thanks! I was starting to get concerned about it.

Chad, are you bringing anyone else? Are you camping for the weekend or what?

If I end up driving up solo, I'll just take my miata, and we should cruise up together. (If I have a passenger then I'll tow up so I have the extra room).

Anyways, if I end up just taking the miata solo I might be on the hunt for some extra cargo room if you have some to spare. Miatas are effin tiny.

So far I'm going solo.
I am not much of a camper.
We should definitely cruise together. You got a radar detector? or know someone that does?

Everyone who was able to register will receive an email from Mazda Canada soon containing information on picking up your passes at registration.

Yep, I was just about to post.
Got the instructions.
We're basically hanging out at the track all day and learn a few things about the racing side of Mazda.
I knew they would have instructions for us as the day got closer.

I'll ohpefully arrive at the track around 10:30am or so on Sat.

See everyone then!

hay guys, just wondering whos crusing down when and what we should be bringing. also about the camping, its $45 online. but do we need to pay for camping online or can we pay at the gate as well? maybe it would be a good idea for any of us camping to be in the same area. you know keep the rx's together.

I will be cruising there on July 23rd, leaving at First Markham Place (Markham, ON) at around 9:30am. Who wants to cruise there with me? I won't be camping, so I am cruising back on the same day......

I got my instructions as well, so it looks like I'll be there as well.

Mr. Cool, if I camp out, I'll definitely be attending the keg site lol. maybe we can just pay for one car and stuff four of us in it or something lol to save on the camping costs.

Yes you can buy a camping pass at any of the gates, as I mentioned before it's good for one car, up to six campers, they don't always come around and check but if you want to err on the side of caution then...

Schedule of events: http://www.mosport.com/images/storie...gpschedule.pdf

Here is a map I threw together of the track, the main gate is just beyond registration, I've also marked the location of the dinner, and our main campsite. From the main gate you'll go straight and through a tunnel staying to the right and you'll find yourself beside the lower paddock. You can park just about anywhere. Use the Turn one tunnel to get on the outside of the track then take the tight switchback up the hill and follow alongside the track until you reach the campsite. Usually a few Mazda's with us.

The DJ is confirmed, etc. We didn't do up a keg as we didn't receive enough feedback, of course now we've got like 15 people asking. Next year!

One thing is our first race goes from 6:55 to 7:25 on Saturday so we may just pull right up to the dinner location in the racecars lol

PM me for my cell number to text me with any questions etc.

This is great! I wont be at the dinner but I'll be camping all weekend between corner 3 and 4! I'll be there with my white FC with Mazda flags out the window, so anyone is more then welcome to camp around me. Maybe swap some Mazda camp fire stories LOL

Looks like all is a go for the weekend. Looks like turn 3 is the place to be, and that's what my buddy's friend suggest as a spot, so more likely we'll be there. We're actually looking at going there Thursday night right after my buddies finish their afternoon shift. My one friend will have his black Speed6 there, but I won't have my 8, I'll be there in the truck. I shouldn't be too hard to pick out, but the name is Mike, and feel free to stop by and say hi!

Ya, that tent isn't really 8-friendly, lol!

Must be nice to be a moderator, but I still like "it's pys to bitch" my new motto in life.
Thanks, Jason we don't want to confuse the petrol sniffing rotary owners, do we.

I'm only going for the 23rd.
But I'm already at the same level as the track. I'm just cutting across towards it.
