Unhappy little help with my FC please

So, its July, my car is acting up still...

First of all, my tach isn't working. I'm running a haltech e8 with ls1 coils. The setup used to work on my s4, now it doesn't on my s5, maybe its the wiring...where am i supposed to wire the tach signal from? I know on stock cars it comes with the trailing coil ground to the tach to the ecu (I think?)

Anyways, will an aftermarket tach fix my problem? Are they wired in differently? I suck at wiring.

Next, car is producing some white smoke. Its definitly not coolant. Seems like clean oil....
My engine is brand new, and oil pressure is healthy according to my aftermarket gauge, so I don't think its anything internal. I have the OMP removed and am running premix. Is it possible its just the premix under lean conditions? Cause it seems to only do it when the car goes lean...(needs to be tuned). Some ppl have speculated that its the turbo seals, but I'm still breaking the engine in. I don't even see boost. So even if the turbo oil seals are poo, why would they leak? Or would they still leak regardless?

Any help is appreciated! thanks 7club

M,

You didn't answer my last PM! If you have an aftermarket tach bring it up to my place and I'll wire it in for you, also happy to try and diagnose any other issues.

If the car is untuned then fuel will continually wash the oil film from the chambers and encourage oil past the o-rings. It will smoke blue, black and white. Get it tuned.

The tach wire is the yellow/blue wire at the trailing coil connector. I don't know if your LS1 coils have a tach output, but if so, use that on one of the trailings. If not, connect to the coil -. If not, then the Haltech has a tach output you can probably use.
