Just looking for some info from you guys. I am interested in a JDM 323/Familia GTx. 1.8 boosted litres and AWD. Terra2imports lists a couple, and I have emailed importconcern.ca.

Do you know of/have you delt with/can you tell me about any other japanese importers?

Try Skye Service SPL. They have their main office in Japan and a Canadian office near Toronto. They primarily import high quality GT-Rs but they can source (private not auction) great condition cars of other makes. Their pricing is reasonable and their customer service is exceptional.

hmm, those were hard to get years ago and haven't gotten any easier.. most of them have been 1/2 cut or engine robbed already. It's a given that if you do find one, your going to pay dearly for it.

 

the nissan pulsar is a similar, not ralley based as the GTx but close and quite available.

 

Sunny Gti-r would be an even better substitute most likely cheaper with more HP potential ..

 

Theres a NISMO Nissan Pulsar here. 320WHP, AWD and (believe it or not) less than 2000 pounds.


Its an absolute roit to drive. And with SR20 Power, it will never break.

 

Interesting... Ms. Feds has put the kaibosh on the plan so far, but I'll keep working on her.

Basically, I can sell my Protege5, pay off what I owe the loan, and have ~$8k left over. If I can get something fun and low miles for that, I'd be way ahead. Keep the suggestions coming.

you should definatly get a gtx, then we can go for some rally cruise's

 

GEt a 323 GTR if you can... more power, different front and rear valence, a bit lighter, ect. You can get them from Quebec pritty decent but be prepaired to pay 20 grand CAD for a decent one ( rally preped of cource)

hey there if your lookin for a real gtr your gonna have to go overseas they were never made here and ifyou want some real good info on them get into contact with jackson autosport in wpg jackson is the far most expert with these cars and can locate them pretty easy. if your looking for an even better car and have the money to spend get one for australia the escort cosworth than your dealling with a real rally car capapble of winning, the gtr has decent handling but will tip and roll with any serious corners
