wow, I've wanted to hit up calabogie for a long time!

I can possibly bring 2 miata guys with me....

What kind of pricing would we be looking at?

I'd spend $100 for a full day but not more than that! A full day on the track for me is 2 tanks of gas + one set of tires on top of the $100... and the $150 to get there and back...

As far as what day goes, if it can't be on a weekend, I'd really prefer a friday.

Pricing is in the first post... Approximately 200$ if we get 30 people. There aren't many tracks that will be 100$ for a full day, that is very cheap.

And yes, the roads to and around the track are quite beatiful as well.

Excellent...

Do they check if their Snell/Dot approved, or have any specification on which one?

not sure on details yet but i would imagine it would be snell 2000 or newer,

I'd spend $100 for a full day but not more than that!
you obviously have never been to a track day... That track is definatly worth spending the little extra.

as for the track day, it most likely will not happen this year, at least not for the ottawa meet, due to the MOM being jun 3rd, there really isn't much available track time that ins't too close to that date. however, i might organise a lapping day later on during the year or when i here of another local club having a open lapping day i will post it on this site aswell for other people wanting to try the new track.

sorry for the inconveniency, the track is just too booked this year to make anything happen in short notice, maybe next year.

that sucks but what can you do... it looks like we would have been hard pressed to find 30 rx-7 drivers (let alone mazdas) to do it.

Jason keep me updated because if i do one thin this comming summer it will be to drive calabogie.

Well, as long as i have about a month to a month and a half notice i can take Vacation Days at work and have the time off. I probably cant do the track day because of money issues. Hopefully the car will be tuned by the meet, first ottawa meet for me

Take care guys!
