IMSA at Mosport July 8-10
Hey guys,
Just to let every one know, Mazda is running their Corral again...
Hi Everyone!
Once again, Mazda will be hosting a car corral at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park when the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship rolls into town July 7-10, 2015. As you know, the weekend in jam-packed with terrific racing, but this weekend will also include the Canadian debut of the SCCA Pro Racing Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich.
Similar to last year, I have worked with the track to bring the price of the Mazda Corral ticket down to $65, in line with the price of a regular weekend super-ticket. This year we are partnering with Cobourg Mazda to make the weekend bigger and better.
As always, your members will receive all the great benefits of the corral, including:
· 4-day admission
· Access to a private tented area and parking from Friday to Sunday
· A parade lap
· Driver meet and greet sessions
· BBQ Lunch on Sunday
Tickets can be ordered using the attached order forms, or directly online at https://ppmg.formstack.com/forms/ctmp_mazda
Please distribute this info to your group and let me know if there are any questions.
See you at the track!
Heather

Had a fantastic time on Sunday at Mosport, likely my best race experience. The perfect weather, great hospitality from the Mazda Corral people, and the ear rupturing sound! Ironically it was the GT Le Mans class that was the worst offender and not the Prototypes, the Ford GT and Porsche GT3s were painfully loud. The Mazda Prototype with the beautiful Renown livery from 1991 was eerily quiet by comparison but quick and nimble leading the race for the first half until retiring from suspension failure.
We only had my Fb, three convertible Fc, and a couple of Rx8s. The rest mainly Miatas and MX6s. Where were youse guys????

I was there for Sat. I always go prior to race day. There's not much to see and there's a ton of people on race day (obviously). I enjoy the venue and the races more prior to actual race day.
The Mazda Corral is always good to us. Which reminds me to send something to Heather for prepping it all.
My bro had the good camera so he's going to take some time to get all the photos edited. He told me he took about 2200 pics on Sat. He's gotta find a way to widdle it down to 500 or so. As soon as he does that I'll post some up.
Great shot of the prototype at speed! Too bad it had to retire..

Thought the 55 was amazing, but the showing of 7's at the corral was dismal.
Shock to see the the low attendant compared to other years, I guess everyone stayed home for the F1?

As mentioned in other postings, some people have moved on or have run into life situations. Alas, only the few have survived...
My bro got to the photo of the prototype with Nunez. My shirt was the talk of the track apparently.

Yeah, my bro is still working on all the other action shots he took. Poor guy had to take this photo about 40-50ft back due to the lens he had. lol
I did advertisement for rotary13b1.com all day Saturday. Won't be surprised if they start running out of stock on the shirt..
