I thought this was intresting

I live in a somewhat rural area, and I like to drive fast. I don't drive rediculously fast, but i don't slow down at all for corners. Normaly I drive my little old first gen around, and I will stuff it into this one corner at around 70-80kmh.

Today I drove my moms car into this corner. I was impresed on how much understeer, my mom Cavilier actualy had. The car made teh corner just fine, but one could hear the front tires sliding out. If the car did not have such easy steering one would have most likly felt this in the steering wheel.

This even makes me wonder, what is the full potential of my Rx-7. I think I can take this same corner alot faster now. I have never had any screatching issues.

Well now that you have read my boring story, thanks for the time.

this reminds me of the time i was driving faster than i should have been in my 2nd gen TII
when a kid in a older Cavilier thought he would show me what his race car would do.
It was on a road that i have driven many times and knew of the bend in he road ahead,
I am sure he knew of the bend as well, when i seen he was starting to ride me ***
i put my foot into it as i approached the corner, it was fun to watch the kid put it into the
curb as i made my way around, I could hardly beleve what i was watching, i could have
taken that corner much faster than i had!
So dont push your moms car to hard you might find yourself on the curb

LOL. I know what you mean. I definitly will not take that corner any faster then what I did. It was a one time thing. The corner is like a typicle suburbia street corner. Its a 90 degree turn, about 2 lanes wide. The only reason I can take this corner fast is because it connects to a main road, and has no turn lanes. So the speed limit is 60 or something, and I just turn right into my neighbour hood, and then imidatly start to slow down to 40ish.
