I Know It's Not RX7 Related but......
Some of you guys may be interested in how the Cobra R I get to race out west looks this year. Tim Brown, the owner, has gone all out to improve front end grip. The car is running 325x18's on rear and 305'sx18's on the front. To cover the tires and add downforce he widened the fenders, added fender vents behind the tires to release high pressure air and widened the splitter.
The car works great and set the fastest lap in the 4 Hour Seattle race by over 2 seconds. Just ran out of tires as the At-Track tire company failed to show and we had to finish the race on 3 year old full tread depth Toyo RA1's.
Tim is now talking about going drysump and new alum block motor. Can't wait for the next race at Portland. Can we talk 190 mph going into Turn 1. OH BAAABBBY .
Back to working on my RX7.
