help with buying tII motor
alright im going to look at a jdm tII motor later this week. It has 90km, and low compression on one rotor he says. Turbo, and the intercooler are in fine condition. Should i make a purchase? what do i need to do to fix the low compression.. i know to rebuild, but what all should i do? How much money will this rin me, and also does snyone know a canadian place to purchase rebuild kits for cheap...

i don't want to step on your intentions of buying a TII motor ,but why would you buy one that needs to be rebuilt?..you must be getting a bargain..there are place in Canada that sell good TII's with the trans,harness and ECU..tiger japanese autoparts in toronto off the top of my head..E-bay.. in my opinion I would want a motor to slam in right away..not one i would have to throw money into..then install..but it's your money

sounds like its worth about 400.
you really need to have someone that knows about these motors look at it, alot of the jdm engines have stuck seals from sitting forever, but the engines are actually fine... so you need to see if it's a stuck seal or a broken seal.
