Hey Scrodes,

Never saw you out there. Or did I miss you while we were attempting to eat something?

The defuser is from Mazdaspeed. Part of the last hurrah parts from Mazdaspeed for the FD. I didn't like all the parts from the R-spec version of the car, just a few key things. The defuser being one of them. I wanted to get the front one too, but realized with the mods I did to the front of the car, it wasn't going to be worth getting the front defuser.
I included some pics of the defusers and the original R-spec version of the FD.

The brake rotors are from Brembo. But I don't recommend them. They were installed about 7-8yrs ago when I needed a brake job. At the time they were cheaper than getting full solid oem rotors. Well, there's a reason why they're cheaper. They don't sustain high braking very long. I think I took the car on some parade laps around Mosport and that was enough to do the brakes in.
I need to change them out but I'm waiting to get the Sakebomb BBK kit they sell. If I'm going to change them out, I want something that will sustain high speed braking forever!

It was a good turnout considering it was a rain date reschedule. Good to see all the familiar crowd and catch up with some good friends. Keep the pics coming!

Somehow I always forget that car is yours. I love the way it looks, that's essentially how my car will end up. I have the '99 spec wheels now - FD Newbie's last container. I never really looked at the R-spec car so I didn't recognize the diffuser.

Yeah I was there, I got there 1030-1100 or so. VRR PSSH is mine. The poor car was filthy and I didn't get around to polishing it this year because life gets in the way and then I spent all of my car time diagnosing the problem and getting it started again.

Thanks. Yeah, I get teased about it not making an appearance all the time.

It's too bad we never got around to meeting. Meeting new faces and catching up with the regulars kept me from saying hi to everyone.
But good to see she's rolling again. Damn fuel pumps.
She reminds me of my car when I first got it. Although I think yours is a touring model? Have the Bose system?

I was really impressed with the 99 model parked beside me. Our cars look identical except for the front bumper and his upgraded rear spoiler.
I really wanted his rear tinted hatch glass. I tried spec'ing one out awhile back. The cost was just out of control. I had other things I had to take care of before attempting something like that.

Yessir. It's a JDM curse. My Zs all had BOSE and I literally Bought Other Sound Equipment. The Z32 had compartments in the doors similar to the soundwave, each speaker actually faced outwards and they both had their own amp. Mine died so I had the whole system replaced.

Car and Driver described the 350Z's (Z33) sound system as "worse than a poorly tuned AM clock radio packed with cotton *****" A bit harsh, but not entirely inaccurate. I spent my money elsewhere on my Z33

and yes - there are always things to do first. Half of them are even related to my car lol.

Just for the record for those not able to attend ..... there was at one point 3 (three) Fbs present, a fact not evident on all the images posted.

So to make up for a distinct lack of Fb love, I am posting this very dynamic image of mine taken this morning at high speed in the parking lot of Edwards Garden!
