Good welding shops in the GTA, anyone?
Hey guys,
I can't stand my smoking exhaust anymore so I took my turbo off and sent it to Cherry Turbos in St Thomas for a rebuild. Meanwhile I snapped a couple of studs and have to retrieve them out of the exhaust manifold. When I took it off I noticed a long crack that has not yet penetrated through the 1/2" metal. Can anyone suggest a good welding shop that can make the proper repair that will last and also not warp the manifold and ruin it????
Thanks!

This is the only place I know that I can easily trust. He's one building north of Mazdee's place. Very professional at what he does and knows his trade well. Decent pricing too.

So I'm a little pissed off.
I leave the city at 3 pm and have to already fight the commuter traffic. I get to the address ... and the shop is no longer there. I stop by a gas station and look up the latest phone book - still shows the same address. I phone them and of course just an answering machine.
If my business had to change location you bet I'd make sure the internet had the current info and I'd leave my new address prominently on the answering machine. Hell, I'd even have the new tenants of my old location post a notice of my new address. And I get a damn website as well. We live in the 21st century in the 4th largest metropolitan city in North America.
Anybody else have a welding shop inside Toronto they'd like to nominate?????
still pissed for driving for nothing .... Jim

He's definitely there but he leaves early, especially on a Friday. To make sure he's there you would have to go before 3pm. His name is ***** by the way and there is a sign on the window that says Alumaweld. He's a picture of his place... Its the building north of Mazdee's, maybe 1 or 2 units to the right.
