EBC pads and rotors
Currious to know if any one purchased them, and where they found the best prices? I believs JRP sells them or may be the only distributer, not sure. To heavy a part to be ordering through the states....

I bought them from JRP, and then discovered that they were for the 4 pots, and not mine. They wouldn't take them back, and as a result, lost my minuscule to non-existent business lol
I sold them to Mr. Cool, and he should be able to chime in with how he likes them.

Sorry guys, I used to deal with JRP, but after years of them ******* up my orders and taking months to get parts I needed, I stopped dealing with them.
I will go out of my way to order parts from anyone else but them.
I can price out the EBC rotors/pads for you from the guys I deal with in California if you'd like? I need to get a set of front FC rotors for my car anyways.

Are you absolutely married to using EBC stuff? I have a set of greens, and I thought they were absolute junk. They had all the pedal feel and bite of a couple of blocks of wood, and they dusted like mad for what they consider a low-dust street pad. I used them on the street, and tried them in auto crossing, and even with street tires they were inadequate. R-comps overpowered them completely.
I think you'd be happier with a set of hawks, either hps or hp+. hp+'s dust quite a bit though, although i've used them at mosport DDT and at auto slalom with R888's and they were an awesome pad.
Not trying to troll your thread, i just don't think they're worth the $ when hawks aren't really that expensive.
The yellows might be different, but apparently dust worse than the greens.

^^^ 110% agree with you EBC green stuffs are utter garbage, i could get them to fade quite easily on my first N/A car on a brisk street drive. I swapped them for Hawk HP+ pads and never had an issue with them ever I would lap for 30 mins at a time with my n/a car and never had an issue with fade.

I was actually looking at the Reds..not the Green. I have a pair of brand new Hawk HP Plus for the rear in a box. But after reading reviews they dust like a ****, and that will bother the crap out of me.

I did alot of EBC brake packages for the RX-8 guys back in the day (pads, rotors, SS lines, powder coated calipers) and the EBC greens seemed to be real hit or miss.
One guy would love them and they would produce no dust what-so-ever, and then the next guy's rims were coated in dust. I guess it depends on the driving style.
A buddy of mine daily drove an FC with EBC yellows and HATED them, hardly worked when cold and were super squeeky. But then again, they arent ment to be street driven haha.

also, a really great secret - you can get FD blanks for front rotors from NAPA. I've had really great success with them even for lapping, and they're cheap enough to replace that I just pick up a set at the beginning of each season so everything's nice and fresh. Perhaps on a higher hp car, or a faster track than the DDT it would be an issue, but for 30 minute sessions in a 300ish hp car that setup was great. No fade once they were bedded in.
I've heard porterfield r4s's are also great, but i haven't used them.
